Ash Wednesday Service

Ash Wednesday Service on March 5th at 6 PM
As we enter the solemn season of Lent, we invite you to our Ash Wednesday service on March 5th at 6 PM. This special service marks the beginning of a period of reflection, repentance, and preparation for Easter.
During the service, we will observe the traditional imposition of ashes. The ashes, made from the burned palm fronds of the previous year's Palm Sunday, are a meaningful symbol of our mortality and sinfulness. As they are applied to our foreheads in the shape of a cross, we are reminded of our human limitations and the call to turn toward God for forgiveness and renewal.
Following the imposition of ashes, there will be a time of reflection. This is an opportunity for personal contemplation and prayer as we consider our spiritual journeys and the areas in our lives where we seek transformation. In this quiet space, we invite you to pause and listen for God’s voice in your heart.
Additionally, we will offer the sacrament of Holy Communion. This sacred meal embodies God’s grace, inviting us to experience His love and forgiveness. Sharing in Communion together as a church community underscores our unity in faith and reminds us of Christ’s sacrifice.
Join us for this significant service as we begin our Lenten journey, embracing the themes of repentance, reflection, and the grace that God offers us through the body and blood of Christ. Your presence will be a cherished part of this meaningful observance.
